Kids Coalition Against Hunger Fun Run/Walk 5K
This community fun run and walk takes place in Saline on November 1, 2026, and raises funds for Kids Coalition Against Hunger (KCAH). Proceeds after administrative fees support KCAH packing events that provide packaged nutritious meals for families in need. The organization is described as a 501c3 humanitarian food relief organization working to reduce child hunger in the USA and feed starving children worldwide.

The 1 Mile route runs to Weber Blaes School and back with no road crossings. The 5K runs through Brecon Park and back. The event is timed and described as family friendly. Special custom medals are provided for both the 1 Mile and the 5K. Activities for families and snacks are available on site. Participants are invited to wear Halloween costumes or costume themes and may bring leftover candy for donation.
Registration opens August 3, 2026 and closes October 31, 2026. Pre-registration fees are listed as $15 for the 1 Mile and $30 for the 5K. Day of registration fees are listed as $20 for the 1 Mile and $35 for the 5K. Parking is available at the Liberty School back lot, 7625 N Ann Arbor Saline Rd; no parking is available at Woodland or Heritage due to the course and ongoing construction.
