Packet pickup is at Marathon Sports, 309 Marginal Way, Portland. The 5-mile race is a point-to-point course that starts at Cutter Street and the Eastern Promenade and finishes at Sewage Treatment Plant Road and Marginal Way. The walk starts and finishes at the Sewage Treatment Plant Road Bayside Trail entrance. Maps will be provided. The 5-mile start is about 1.3 miles from Marathon Sports and the finish is about 0.3 miles from Fleet Feet Maine Running.
Logistics and competition
Registration fees vary by date: $26 through June 30, $29 through September 1, $34 thereafter, and $39 on race day. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations through October 10, subject to availability. Cash prizes are offered for top overall male and female finishers. Course records are listed as 27:13 (male, 2022) and 29:50 (female, 2022). Age-group awards are given, and team awards are available for top club, corporate, and open teams with a four-person minimum to score.
