Keyport 5K : Keyport, NJ
The Keyport 5K is a USATF certified road race held at Waterfront Park with the start line at 12 West Front St in Keyport, New Jersey. The event on September 26, 2026 features a single measured distance, 5K, offered in a standard entry and a separate military discount entry.
Registration fees follow a tiered schedule: $30 through July 31, 2026; $35 from August 1 through September 17; and $40 after September 17 and on race day. A $5 discount applies for students age 21 and under, seniors age 65 and over, and active or retired military participants; a military discounted entry is listed at $25. Tech race shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 pre-registrants for the 5K.
The race uses computerized timing and posts results. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers and to age group winners, with rules to prevent duplicate awards except in specified categories for emergency services, military or veteran participants, and Keyport residents. Additional awards include first male and female Keyport resident and recognition for emergency services personnel. The course enforces a 50 minute cutoff time and provides post race refreshments.
Packet pickup is available at Keyport Boro Hall on the Friday prior to the event and on race morning at Waterfront Park during morning pickup hours.
