Kettlewell (Skirfare) Half Marathon : Saturday 20 June 2026
The event is a trail half marathon organised by Due North and run under UK Athletics rules with a TRA licence. The course starts and finishes at the car park field at Hawkswick Cote, Kettlewell (Kettlewell Race Venue SD 97171 69231) in the Wharfedale area of the Yorkshire Dales. The route includes about 900 m of ascent, with three steep climbs and corresponding descents, and passes riverside footpaths, rolling moors and grassy descents. The race is a qualifier for the Yorkshire Three Peaks fell race. Minimum age is 17.
Race details and included services
Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £35 and Non-UKA Member £37. The race is part of the Due North Half Marathon series; entering all three events in the series offers a £10 saving and qualification for the series championship. The event provides a way marked course, drink stations with water and juice, toilets in the car park and free car parking. Included post-race items noted are a meal (for example pie or soup), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, a cup or bottle for drinks stations and a mobile phone with a location app. Prize giving includes 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, open and non-binary prizes, and first in V40, V50, V60 and V70+ categories.
