Event Overview
The Kettlewell Trail Half is a trail running event scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026. The route is approximately a half marathon distance with significant elevation.
The Course
The trail half marathon course features around 900 meters of ascent and includes three notable climbs. The route takes runners over rolling moors and riverside footpaths, offering views of the Wharfedale valley in the Yorkshire Dales. The path is partially way-marked.
Logistics
The event venue, start, and finish is a car park field at Hawkswick Cote near Kettlewell. Registration opens at 08:30. A post-race meal (e.g., pie or soup) and a bottle of beer are included for participants. There is free car parking at the venue.
Entry Information
Entry is open to participants aged 17 and over. There are two entry fee tiers: one for UKA members and another for non-members. The event is part of a series; entering three events in the series provides a discount.
Requirements and Inclusions
Participants must carry specific mandatory kit, including a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, and a cup or bottle for drinks stations. Drinks stations provide water and juice.
