Kettlewell (Skirfare) Half Marathon

This event is a trail half marathon taking place on Saturday, 20 June 2026. The course features approximately 900m of ascent spread over three steep climbs. The route includes riverside footpaths, rolling moors, and grassy descents, offering views of Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales.

The race starts and finishes at the Hawkswick Cote car park field near Kettlewell. Registration is located at a tent in this car park.

The event provides a fully waymarked course and two drink stations offering water, juice, fruit, and sweets. Participants receive a post-race meal such as pasta, pie and peas, or soup, along with tea or coffee and a bottle of beer. Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies are also included.

Participants are required to carry essential kit, including a waterproof jacket and a mobile phone with a location app. Each runner must bring their own cup or bottle for drinks, as cups are not provided at the stations. The event has an age restriction of 17 years and older. Dogs are not permitted.

This race is part of the Due North Race Series. Entering all three races in the series offers a £10 saving and qualification for the series championship.
