Kettlewell (Skirfare) 10K
The Kettlewell (Skirfare) 10K is part of the Due North Trail Race Series on 19 June 2027. The course follows the same route as the Kettlewell Trail Half Marathon, including a sustained climb out of Arncliffe to the top of Arncliffe Moor. After the climb runners remain on the moor for about 3 km, mainly on a gentle downhill with some undulating sections and views over Starbotton and Kettlewell, finishing with a downhill outlook towards Kilnsey Crag.
The event is run under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the TRA. Entry fees are listed by membership category: UKA members and non UKA members, with a discount available for entries to three or more races in the series. Age restriction is 17 plus for all trail races.
Included for runners are a fully way marked course, drinks stations with water and juice, post race food, Due North merchandise and additional sponsor items. The venue is the car park field at Hawkswick cote, where parking and registration are located and toilets are provided. A GPX route file is available for the course.
Minimum kit is required and non compliance is a breach of race rules; the listed items include a waterproof jacket, a cup or bottle for drinks stations and a mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate.
