Kettlewell (Skirfare) Half Marathon
The Kettlewell (Skirfare) half marathon takes place on Saturday 19 June 2027 in the Wharfedale area of the Yorkshire Dales. The route covers roughly 900m of ascent and includes three steep climbs and their descents. Runners follow riverside footpaths, rolling moors and grassy descents, with views across Wharfedale.
The event is run under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the TRA. Age restriction for all trail races is 17+. The race venue and parking are at the car park field at Hawkswick cote. Runners pass through Kettlewell village twice. Toilets are provided in the car park. No dogs are allowed on any Due North races.
Included for participants are a fully way marked course, two drinks stations offering water, juice, fruit and sweets, tea and coffee at the finish, and a post race meal such as pasta or pie and peas or soup. Due North merchandise and sponsor items are also provided. Prize giving takes place once category winners have finished.
A minimum kit list is mandatory and breach of race rules may result from not carrying the required items. Required items include a waterproof jacket, a mobile phone with a location app such as OS locate, and a personal cup or bottle for drinks stations. Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £40 and Non UKA Member £42, with a discount of up to £10 for entry to three or more events in the series.
