Kennedy Drive 8K
The Kennedy Drive 8K is a race held in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The start and finish are located on the south side of the Polo Field along Middle Drive. The course follows park roads and paths and covers a distance of 8K.
The route begins on Middle Drive, heading eastbound uphill, then turns onto Overlook Drive (path). Runners take a left at Transverse and a right onto Kennedy Drive, continuing east on Kennedy Drive to a barricade at Kezar Drive. At the barricade runners turn around and return along the same roads and paths to the finish at the Polo Field area.
The route uses paved park roads and sections of path within Golden Gate Park and includes an uphill segment on Middle Drive.
