Keighley 10k & 5k 2027
The Keighley 10k and 5k take place on Sunday 7 March 2027 at Victoria Park, Keighley, West Yorkshire. The events are organised by Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and were sponsored by the Modality partnership. Distances offered:
- 10 kilometres
- 5 kilometres
Both routes follow a circular course through the paths, pavements and towpaths of Keighley, Utley and Riddlesden. The course includes a section of the Leeds Liverpool canal towpath and offers a brief view of East Riddlesden Hall. The 10k route also passes Keighley Golf Club. The course is multi terrain, undulating and run as a single lap. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Race headquarters is at Keighley Leisure Centre, Victoria Park, Hard Ings Road. On course and site facilities include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing facilities or showers.
Finishers can receive a bespoke wooden medal lasered onto a slice of trunk from Christmas trees recycled by Sue Ryder in January. The event falls on Mothers Day and many participants run or walk with, for or in memory of their mother. Entry fees range from £13.00 to £18.00, the entry limit is 1200 places and entry on the day may be available for an additional £5 subject to availability.
