Keep Moo'ving 5K
The High Lawn Farm Keep Moo’ving 5K is a 3.1 mile walk or run that raises funds for Berkshire Bounty, a food rescue organization that collects, purchases, and delivers nutritious food to emergency distribution programs across the county. One hundred percent of event proceeds benefit Berkshire Bounty.
The course starts and finishes at High Lawn Farm and passes along Laurel Lake. Finish-line amenities include a food truck and a complimentary High Lawn Farm ice cream or chocolate milk for finishers; Berkshire County students K–12 (ages 0–18) register free and receive free ice cream though student registration does not include a race shirt. Technical race shirts are provided to the first 150 registered participants while supplies last.
Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers and to top finishers in age categories (0–12, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+). The High Lawn Farm Museum is open specifically for runners after the race. Race support includes porta-potties at the start/finish, water stops at miles 1 and 2, and water and snacks at the finish.
No dogs or pets are allowed. Wheelchairs and disabled push strollers are welcomed and organizers request advance notice to arrange accommodations. There are no refunds or deferments; in the event of cancellation the race may be converted to a virtual event and race packets mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
