3rd Annual Berkshire Pride Rainbow 5K Run/Walk
The 3rd Annual Berkshire Pride Rainbow 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Crane Avenue entrance of the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail in Pittsfield, MA. The course is an out and back format and includes both a competitive run and a non competitive walk.
Proceeds from the event support Berkshire Pride’s year round LGBTQIA+ programming. The 5K run is a timed, competitive race with awards for first, second, and third place in the Men, Women, and Non-binary categories; the organizers note that these three options do not represent the full breadth of gender identities. The 5K walk is designated non competitive and is presented with a festive tone.
Post race refreshments and an awards ceremony will follow the event. Berkshire Pride is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide safe spaces and events where LGBTQIA+ community members can live and thrive as their authentic selves throughout the year. Berkshire Pride 2026 activities include a month of events beginning June 1 that will culminate in a festival and parade at The First Street Common in Pittsfield.
