Berkshire Pride 5K and Walk
The Berkshire Pride 5K and 1 mile Walk takes place on May 31, 2026, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The event is a fundraiser for Berkshire Pride and supports the Pride Festival at First Street Common. Berkshire Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides year-round programming and safe spaces for the local LGBTQIA+ community.

The 5K is a competitive race held on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail on an out and back course with start and finish at the Crane Avenue trailhead. The 1 mile walk is non-competitive and described as a social, festive activity. Awards are planned for first, second, and third places in the Men, Women, and Non-binary categories, with an acknowledgement that these categories do not represent the full breadth of gender identities.
Registration has a fee and an online processing charge; fundraising pages are available for teams and individuals. The first 100 registered participants are eligible for technical race shirts; post-race refreshments are provided. Porta-potties will be at the start and finish. Water stops are placed near miles 1 and 2, with water and snacks at the finish.
Parking is available at the Allendale Shopping Center about 500 yards from the start and finish. Dogs are not allowed. Headphones are discouraged for safety. Wheelchairs and disabled push strollers are welcome and accommodations can be arranged with the organizers. No refunds will be issued; in case of cancellation the event may be converted to a virtual race with race materials mailed to participants.
