Kara's Mutt Strutt K9 5K is scheduled for April 18, 2026 in Middletown, Ohio. The event includes a timed 5K run/walk and a separate 1.5 mile dog walk that is not timed. Official race shirts are available for humans at $10 each; shirt orders must be placed by April 3. Awards are reserved for canine participants: first through third place in two weight divisions (under 50 lbs and over 50 lbs). All canine participants receive an official participation award.
Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 ft, be friendly with other dogs, be vaccinated, and not be in heat. An after-event gathering will be held at the Windamere event center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
