Event Purpose and Partners
The event is organized to benefit nonprofit organizations. At least 85% of the net proceeds support MRC Industries, which works with individuals living with a disability through employment and community programs. The remaining proceeds benefit Kalamazoo Area Runners (KAR), an organization that promotes running and community health.
Notable Details
For the 2026 edition, the 5K Run is designated as the RRCA State Championship race.
Location and Schedule
All events start at the top of Maple Street Hill in Kalamazoo. The event address is 922 W. Maple Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. Packet pickup is available on Friday before the race from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maple Street Magnet School Parking Lot. On race day, packet pickup starts at 6:30 AM at the Maple Street Magnet School Lower Field.
Registration
Registration fees are listed as $35 for individual events (10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk) and $45 for the combined "Kombo" events. Prices increase after June 18, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
