Kalamazoo Klassic
The Kalamazoo Klassic is a community walk and run in Kalamazoo, Michigan held on June 20, 2026. The event is presented in partnership by MRC Industries, Inc. and Kalamazoo Area Runners and marks the 48th year of the Klassic.
At least 85% of the net proceeds benefit MRC Industries, Inc. in support of employment, workforce development, and community involvement for people living with a disability. The remaining proceeds benefit Kalamazoo Area Runners in its work to promote a healthy lifestyle through running and to enhance community quality of life.
The event program includes both 10K and 5K distances. The 5K Run has been selected as the RRCA State Championship for 2026. Registration fees for listed events range from $30.00 to $50.00. Registration opened January 25, 2026 and the registration deadline for listed events was May 23, 2026. Tee shirt sizing was guaranteed through June 7, 2026 and was subject to available inventory after that date.
Packet pickup takes place at Maple Street Magnet School, with a parking lot pickup day before the event and a race day pickup on the school lower field. The event start location is at the top of Maple Street Hill in Kalamazoo, at 922 W. Maple Street.
