Event Overview

The Dirty Feet Kal Park 50 is a trail running event held on May 3, 2026, at Kalamalka Provincial Park near Vernon, British Columbia. It is part of the Dirty Feet Trail Series.

Course and Location

The course uses trails in Kalamalka Provincial Park. These trails wind through forest and grassland areas with views of Kal Lake. The trails have been voted the best in British Columbia. The finish line is at a beach.

Prizes and Awards

For the 50 km race, prize money is awarded to the top three finishers in men's and women's categories: $100 for first place, $50 for second, and $25 for third. The 25 km and 8 km races provide prizes from sponsors for the top three finishers.

Registration and Fees

Online registration closes on May 2, 2026. There is no race day registration. Early entry fees are $40 for the 8 km, $65 for the 25 km, and $90 for the 50 km. These fees increase on January 1st and April 25th.

Additional Information

Aid stations are provided for the 50 km and 25 km races, but not for the 8 km. Pacing and pacers are not permitted. Food is available at the finish. Optional medals can be purchased.
