Event details

Freaky Creeky takes place Saturday, Sep 19, 2026, at Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park near Coldstream, BC (14501 Kidston Rd). The course runs through Okanagan grassland with ponderosa pine and groves of Douglas-fir, includes lake views, and offers long sections of single-track trail with climbs, rolling terrain and a mix of technical and cruising descents. A portion of race entry fees will be donated to NOCS for trail creation and maintenance. Registration closes Thu, Sep 10 @ 11:59PM PT.

Distances and entry fees

The event offers multiple distances, including 13 km, 27 km and a long ultramarathon distance of about 50–52 km, plus a children’s race of roughly 2.3–2.5 km. Early registration fees (until Jan 31, 2026) are listed as:

  • 52 km: CAN $195
  • 28 km: CAN $150
  • 13 km: CAN $135
  • Kids race (about 2.5 km): CAN $20

Prices do not include taxes and fees. Registrants must register by Aug 15, 2026 to be guaranteed a T-shirt.

Kids race

The Sneaky Creeky children’s event is about 2.5 km and consists of two loops, each with a climb. The race is timed but emphasizes participation. Every child who completes the course receives a medallion and a goodie bag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
