The course passes through Okanagan grassland with ponderosa pine and groves of Douglas-fir and includes lake views. Trails are primarily single track with steep climbs, rolling terrain, and a mix of technical and smoother descents.

The kids event consists of two loops, each with a noticeable climb. It is timed but emphasizes participation; every child who finishes receives a medallion and a goodie bag. Early entry fees listed are CAN: $195 for the longest distance, CAN: $150 for the mid distance, CAN: $135 for 13 km, and CAN: $20 for the kids race.
