Freaky Creeky : event description
Freaky Creeky is a trail running event held at Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park near Vernon, British Columbia. Courses combine flowy singletrack, technical sections, sustained climbs and steep descents. Trails are clearly marked and race marshals are placed along the route.
Available distances:
- 2.5 km kids race Sneaky Creeky
- 13 km green course
- 28 km blue course
- 52 km black course
Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolytes, gels and assorted snacks, including some gluten free options. The event is cup-less so participants must carry their own cup or hydration container for cold drinks. Mandatory and recommended gear requirements include a minimum carried fluid supply and basic emergency items; details are provided in the event guide.
Packet pickup and drop bag rules are published; packet pickup requires photo identification and drop bags must be delivered on the specified day. First aid staff and volunteers are present on site.
