The Kahakuloa Half Marathon & Relays takes place on June 6, 2026, in Kahakuloa, Hawaii. The event benefits the renovation of the Kahakuloa Congregational Church. Registration is limited to 200 participants. Listed entry fees include a resident half marathon rate of USD 60, an out-of-state half marathon rate of USD 65, and a USD 50 fee for a two-person relay team. Participants receive medals, t-shirts, and breakfast with entertainment.
Course and logistics
The course follows Kahekili Highway from Fleming Beach in Kapalua to the village of Kahakuloa. The route includes rolling hills and coastal ocean views. Race formats and distances:
- Half marathon
- Relay teams: two-person and four-person relays; relay legs range from 2.9 to 6.55 miles
Relay handoff zones are specific: the two-person relay handoff is at aid station 4 (at the first cattle guard), and four-person relay handoffs are at aid stations 2, 4, and 6. Relay teams are responsible for transportation to their assigned relay leg zones. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, June 5, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DT Fleming Beach parking lot.
