Kahakuloa Half Marathon & Relays
The Kahakuloa Half Marathon and Relays is a road running event on Maui scheduled for June 6, 2026. The course follows Kahekili Highway from Fleming Beach in Kapalua to the village of Kahakuloa and passes along coastal sections with island views. Registration is limited to 200 participants; that limit covers individual half marathoners and relay teams.

Relay details note that each relay leg ranges from 2.9 to 6.55 miles. Two-person relay handoffs occur at aid station 4 at the first cattle guard. Four-person relay handoffs are at aid stations 2, 4, and 6. Athletes on relay teams are responsible for their own transportation to relay zone locations identified on the course.
Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at the DT Fleming Beach parking lot from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A limited shuttle service is available to return some runners to the start; seating is in a 15 passenger van and reservations are required or participants must arrange their own return. The event supports the renovation of the Kahakuloa Congregational Church. Participants receive race shirts, medals, and there will be breakfast with entertainment at the finish.
