Event
The K9s United 9k For K9s takes place on April 25, 2026, at the Ring Power Corporate Headquarters, 500 World Commerce Pkwy, St Augustine, FL 32092. The event is organized to benefit K9s United; the race materials state that 100% of the proceeds will support the nonprofit’s work for law enforcement K9 officers. Several police K9 units will be present and a K9 demonstration and family activities are planned.

The 5k and 9k are chip timed and will have awards for top finishers. Virtual events can be completed between April 24 and April 26; registration for virtual events closes on April 24. Runners who raise $100 or more through the event fundraising portal receive a refund of their registration fee. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations made by April 11; only virtual runners will have shirts and medals mailed. Live participants must pick up packets in person during packet pickup or on race day. Only service dogs are permitted at the event; pet dogs are asked to remain at home. Overall, masters, and age-group awards are specified, with gift card prizes for top overall finishers and age-group awards presented in five-year intervals.
