Event overview
Don’s Friends Endless Summer Runs are organized as a 10K cross-country and a 5K beach run/walk at Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, Florida. The park is an ocean-front state park with over four miles of beach and is described as an active sea turtle breeding ground. The 2025 event is listed for November 15, 2025, and the 2026 event for November 21, 2026. Both races were reported as sold out in 2024, and the event has sold out for multiple years.

Runners for both races begin on the ocean front at Anastasia Beach. Registered participants receive a performance tech T-shirt featuring an annual full-color turtle graphic, a bag (noted value $30), a finishers medal, and additional race items. Virtual run options are available.
The event is presented by Don’s Friends and benefits two 501(c)(3) charities: the Don Ausman Foundation and Friends of Anastasia. The Don Ausman Foundation promotes college students taking alternative break trips to help others in need. The event uses volunteers for staffing; the organizer states there are no paid employees and that more than 100 helpers work at the events. A silent auction is held on the Friday and Saturday of the event, with proceeds going to the charities. Registration for the 2026 race is scheduled to open in March-April 2026.
