K-Town Turkey Trot - Kanab
The event is a Thanksgiving 5K fun run held on the Sherry Belle Trail near Jackson Flat Reservoir, located about two miles south of Kanab, Utah (Zip 84741). The trail route surrounds roughly three miles of the reservoir shoreline and is used for the 5K run and walk.
Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed clothing. Family participation is accommodated through a family pricing option with specific rules: it is limited to immediate family members living under the same roof and capped at six people per group; extended family members are not included.
Registration pricing and deadlines are stated clearly. Early registration, open until November 25 at 8:00 pm, lists fees of $5 per individual and $20 per family. After that deadline prices increase to $10 per individual and $40 per family with no exceptions. Online registration closes on Wednesday, November 25 at 8:00 pm; those who miss online registration may register in person at the race start on the day of the event no later than 8:00 am.
