UTAH 115 by Grand to Grand Ultra : Kanab, Utah
UTAH 115 takes place in Kanab, Utah from 15 to 17 May 2026. The event offers three out-and-back race distances:
- 115 miles
- 50 miles
- 50K
Cutoff times are 50 hours for the 115 mile race, 20 hours for the 50 mile race, and 13 hours for the 50K. The start and finish are located in Kanab at an elevation of 4,970 feet (1515 meters). The event is USATF sanctioned.
Courses traverse high desert terrain on the Colorado Plateau. Surfaces include hard packed and soft sand, sand dunes, forest trails, red rock climbs, rocky and double track roads, canyons and plateaus. The 115 mile course crosses the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Wildlife and desert flora may be encountered along the route.
Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, soda, hot drinks at night, daytime and nighttime food options, and limited sleeping space with pads and blankets. Shared sleeping aid stations have a three hour time limit. Cell service may be unavailable at some aid stations.
Runners may use one drop bag per aid station location; maximum bag size is 12 x 20 x 12 inches. Drop bags must be clearly labelled with runner identification and aid station names. Participants must be 18 or older. There are no specific qualification requirements, though race experience is recommended. Finishers receive event buckles or medals depending on distance.
