K-Town Tri was founded in 1984 and takes place at CFB Kingston Constantine Arena, 7 Navy Way, Kingston. The event is held on a military base and includes swim, bike and run courses that use roads on and near CFB Kingston and a bike route toward Gananoque. The swim is described as calm, with water temperatures around 22–24°C. The run course passes the Barriefield Rock Garden and uses quiet roads on the base.

- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750 m, Bike 20 km, Run 5 km
- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40 km
- Enduro Triathlon: Competitors complete both the Sprint and Olympic races in the same morning; total distance listed as 77.25 km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Bike 20 km, Run 2.5 km
- 10K Run: Run 10 km
- 5K Run: Run 5 km
Relay entries are available for Sprint and Olympic distances in two- or three-person formats. Course maps are provided for swim, bike and run.
Registration, logistics and extras
Registration includes a free virtual bike fit, a swim cap, a personalized race bib, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female and non-binary finishers, and post-race snacks. The shirt order deadline is June 5; the optional finisher medal deadline is June 19. Online registration closes July 14 at 6 pm or when the event sells out. Bib pickup is arranged in Kingston on the Saturday before the race at 1 Navy Way. Refunds are only available if cancellation insurance is purchased.
