K-Town Tri - CFB Kingston
K-Town Tri takes place in Kingston at the CFB Kingston Constantine Arena (7 Navy Way). The event was founded in 1984 and is presented as Ontario's oldest triathlon. Racing occurs on a military base and concludes with post-race activity in historic Kingston.
Available race options include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Enduro Triathlon: Sprint plus Olympic, total 77.25 km
- Sprint Duathlon: 5 km run, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Road runs: 5 km and 10 km
- Relay teams: 2- or 3-person options
The swim is described as calm with water temperatures around 22–24°C. The bike course uses shared roads and features rolling terrain toward Gananoque. The run route passes the Barriefield Rock Garden and follows quiet roads inside CFB Kingston.
Included with registration are a virtual bike fit, a swim cap, a personalized race bib, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers, post-race snacks, and a FryWay food truck on site. Bib pickup occurs the day before at a Kingston address. Refunds are available only if cancellation insurance was purchased. Volunteers for the event are from Childhood Cancer Canada.
