The K-Town Tri
This multisport event takes place in Kingston, Ontario. It is noted as one of the oldest triathlons in Canada, founded in 1984. The competition is primarily held on the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston.
The 2026 edition introduces several formats, including two new ones: a Sprint distance and an Olympic distance. The courses are described as scenic, featuring a calm swim in moderate temperatures (22–24°C), a shared-road bike course towards Gananoque, and a run past the Barriefield Rock Garden on the quiet roads of the military base.
The event also includes an "Enduro Triathlon" option, which involves completing the Sprint triathlon followed immediately by the Olympic triathlon. Standalone duathlon and running events are also offered.
Registration includes several items such as a swim cap, a personalized race bib, professional timing, and post-race snacks. Podium prizes are awarded to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers.
Volunteers on site are from the charity Childhood Cancer Canada. Various amenities, including a food truck, are available at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
