Event details
K-Town Tri is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at CFB Kingston Constantine Arena (7 Navy Way, Kingston). The event is held on a military base and was founded in 1984; it is described as one of the oldest triathlons in Canada.
Race options and distances
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750 m, Bike 20 km, Run 5 km
- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40 km
- Enduro Triathlon: Combination of the Sprint and Olympic races in one morning, total 77.25 km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Bike 20 km, Run 2.5 km
- 10K Run: Run 10 km
- 5K Run: Run 5 km
Relay options are available for Sprint and Olympic distances with 2- or 3-person teams; relays allow splitting the swim, bike, and run among team members.
Course and support
The swim course is typically calm, around 22–24°C. The bike course is a rolling, shared-road route toward Gananoque. The run passes the Barriefield Rock Garden and uses quiet roads within CFB Kingston. Course maps are provided for swim, bike, and run. On-course nutrition is supplied by XACT and race photography and professional timing are included.
Logistics and policies
Registration items include a free virtual bike fit, a Somersault swim cap, personalized bib, podium prizes for top three male, female, and non-binary finishers, and post-race snacks. Shirt and medal ordering have deadlines (shirt: June 5; medal: June 19). Online registration closes July 14 or when sold out. Bib pickup takes place on the Saturday before the race at 1 Navy Way, Kingston. Refunds are available only with purchased cancellation insurance.
