K is for Kindness 5K and 1K Run takes place on May 9, 2026. It is the third annual edition organized by Spectrum Studios. The event benefits Spectrum Studios and the Empower Center for Growth, a community hub for young adults on the autism spectrum who have aged out of school.

Purpose
Proceeds support the Empower Center for Growth. The center provides a place to connect, learn, and build life skills. It offers creative and life-skills classes, social time, and opportunities to explore art, cooking, technology, and personal development for young adults on the autism spectrum.
