Event Overview
The Justin's Beach House 5K Run & 2 Mile Walk takes place in downtown Bethany Beach, Delaware. The event is presented by Contractors for a Cause. There are two event options: a 5K run and a 2 mile walk.
Registration and Fees
The standard registration fee for both events is $35. This price increases after May 13, 2026. Registration is open to ages 100 and under for the 5K run.
Schedule and Logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at Harvest Tide Steakhouse on Garfield Parkway in Bethany Beach. On race day, emergency packet pickup is available. The event starts at the intersection of Garfield Parkway and Atlantic Avenue. Awards are presented for the 5K run; there are no awards for the 2 mile walk.
Commemorative shirts are available for participants who register early. All participants receive a custom finisher's medal when they cross the finish line on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk. Shirts and packets will not be mailed; arrangements must be made for pickup if a participant cannot attend.
Course and Rules
The finish line is located on the iconic Bethany Beach Boardwalk. For safety, certain items are not allowed on the course: hand cycles, strollers (except baby jogging strollers), babies in carriers or backpacks, in-line skates, skateboards, bicycles, and animals on leashes.
