Justice in Motion: A 5k to Support Innocence Project Delaware
This community running and walking event takes place on April 3, 2027 at Can-Do Playground, Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE. It raises funds and awareness for Innocence Project Delaware, the state organization focused exclusively on addressing and preventing wrongful convictions.

- 5K
- Competitive Walking 5K - walkers must walk the entire race, no running or jogging
- 1 Mile Non-Competitive COLOR Walk

Innocence Project Delaware works on four main goals: client advocacy with free legal representation for individuals claiming actual innocence, student training and clinical education, public education about wrongful convictions and reform, and efforts to reform the criminal legal system in Delaware.
Amenities for participants include race shirts and post-race refreshments and music. Race policies state no dogs allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non-transferable, and registrations are non-refundable. Timing is by chip using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Results are posted online during and after the event. Awards include overall and masters top finishers by gun time, age-group awards by chip time, and awards for top walkers.
