Just Peachy 5K & 10K
The Just Peachy 5K & 10K is a community road event in Palisade, Colorado, organized by the Grand Junction Sports Commission and scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026. The event takes place in Palisade near 120 W 8th St.

Race registration includes an event t-shirt, a finisher's medal, peaches and additional participant items. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, and there are age group awards.
Historically the event was part of Palisade Peach Fest. Organizers moved the race to the Saturday before Peach Fest to reduce the event's impact on the town and to ease demand on local first responders. The change aimed to help Police and Fire Departments maintain services for residents and visitors, and organizers noted the move may affect some attendees who travel specifically for Peach Fest.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Palisade Fire and Police Departments. Deferrals to the 2027 Just Peachy 5K/10K are accepted through Friday 7/31; refunds and other deferrals are not offered otherwise. Online registration closes Friday, Aug 14, 2026.
