Elevate Kids Fun Run
The Elevate Kids Fun Run takes place on Sunday, April 18, 2027, at Las Colonias Park, 1461 Riverfront Drive, Grand Junction, CO 81501. The event offers multiple course distances:
- 2.5k
- 5k
- 10k
Participants can register on a school or non-profit team to support a school's PE program or join with a Charity Bib to fundraise for a chosen school or approved non-profit. The Charity Bib carries a $100 fundraising commitment.
Race entry scholarships for the 2026 fun run are closed; scholarship applications for 2027 are expected to open in the fall of 2026. The event uses professional timing with online results, and awards are given to the top three finishers in each age category. A 5 and under age category applies to the 2.5k and 5k courses only. An awards ceremony is held on race day.
Shirts are available in youth sizes through adult sizes including women's specific and unisex options. Organizers note women's specific shirts tend to run small and advise sizing up; shirts are guaranteed for runners who register before April 6, 2027 and are available in limited supply after that date. Bib pick-up and late registration occur at local pickup locations on race weekend, including Mesa Fitness Grand Junction and the race site.
