Elevate Kids Fun Run
The Elevate Kids Fun Run is a community running event held at Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction, Colorado. The event offers three measured courses:
- 2.5k course
- 5k course
- 10k course
Participants can register as members of a school or non-profit team to support a school's physical education program or a chosen non-profit. A charity bib option is available that requires a $100 fundraising commitment to benefit the selected school or approved non-profit.
The event includes professional timing and online results. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age category; age divisions span from 5 and under through 70 plus, with 5 and under eligible for the 2.5k and 5k only. Shirts are offered in youth and adult sizes, with a guarantee for runners who register before April 6, 2027; shirts are available in limited supply afterward and are not guaranteed to late registrants.
Student race entry scholarships were closed for the 2026 fun run, with applications for 2027 expected to open in fall 2026. The event lists the D51 Foundation as a partner to help promote and grow the fun run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
