New Year's Day 5K & 10K - Grand Junction
The Grand Junction Sports Commission organizes a New Year’s Day running event on January 1, 2027, at Grand Junction Regional Airport. Races are held on the airport secondary runway, Runway 422.
The event includes multiple distance options:
- 10 km road run on the runway
- 5 km road run on the runway
- 1 km kids fun run, free entry
- 100 m kids dash, free entry
