About the race
Just a Little 5K is the second annual 5K event for dwarfism awareness held at Bushong Mountain Park in Leakey, Texas (126 Mountain St, Leakey, TX 78873). Proceeds go toward making public spaces accessible and raising awareness for dwarfism. The listed registration fee is $30.00.
Participants may run or walk and are invited to go at their own pace; participants may turn around if they need to. The course is a trail that is not handicap accessible and is not wide enough for double strollers for the entire race. There will be a cheerleader section; people may register for the event and not run.
Registered participants receive a t-shirt and additional swag. T-shirts will also be available for separate purchase at the event. Participants under 12 years of age do not need to register, but only registered participants are eligible for race placements and prizes.
