Just a Little 5K
The second annual Just a Little 5K takes place on 10 October 2026 at Bushong Mountain Park in Leakey, TX. The event raises funds to make public spaces more accessible and to increase awareness of dwarfism.
Participants may run or walk the 5K trail at their own pace; participants are allowed to turn around if needed. A registered cheerleader section is available for people who register but do not run. The trail is not handicap accessible and is not wide enough for double strollers for the entire course.
Registered participants receive a t-shirt and additional swag. T-shirts will also be sold at the event. Participants under 12 years of age do not need to register; however, only registered participants are eligible for race placements and prizes. Registration opens 30 August 2026 and closes 11 October 2026. The registration fee is $30.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
