Event overview
Jurassic Jog 5k is a community run/walk held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Oviedo, Florida. The event takes place at the Oviedo Mall (1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard) with the race starting and ending at the same location. The event program includes a 5K (3.1 miles) and a Kids Fun Run (100 meters).
Race details and logistics
The 5K uses electronic timing with a disposable transponder chip attached to the back of the race bib; participants must use the provided chip. Packet pickup will take place on race day at the race site. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who complete pre-registration and payment seven weekdays before the race; remaining shirts are available on race day while supplies last. Parking is available next to the start location.
Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups begin at 10 & under and continue in typical ranges up to 90+. A water station is available on the course and at the finish. Qualified emergency medical professionals will be on hand at the start and finish. Dogs and strollers are permitted; stroller participants are asked to start toward the back. The event is held rain or shine and the race organizer does not offer refunds or allow entry transfers.
