Jurassic Jog 5k : event overview
The Jurassic Jog 5k is scheduled for January 18, 2026 in Oviedo, Florida at 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- Kids Fun Run (100 meters)
The 5K has a registration fee of $30. The Kids Fun Run fee is $5 and that event is listed as full. The race provides a finisher medal and uses electronic timing with a disposable chip that is attached to the back of the bib.
Logistics, rules and amenities
Packet pickup takes place on race day at the race site. Free parking is available next to the start location at Oviedo Mall; the course starts and ends at the same location. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who pre-register by the stated deadline; shirts are not guaranteed on race day. Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups, ranging from 10 & under up to 90+. The event is rain or shine. The race does not allow entry transfers and does not issue refunds. Qualified medical personnel will be available at the start/finish. Dogs and strollers are allowed; stroller participants are asked to start toward the back. Water is available on course and at the finish.
