Event information
The Jurassic Jog 5k takes place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Oviedo, Florida, at 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard. The event includes the following race options:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- Kids Fun Run - 100 meters
The 5K is chip timed using a disposable transponder chip attached to the back of the bib. Official results and top finishers are posted online and are available on-site from race staff. Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age-group categories.
Logistics and policies
Packet pickup and day-of registration occur at the race site on race day. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who pre-register by the stated deadline; shirts are not guaranteed on race day and availability may be limited. Free parking is available near the start area. A water station is provided on course and at the finish; participants are also advised to bring their own water. Qualified emergency medical personnel will be available at the start and finish. The event is held rain or shine. The race has a no-refund policy and a strict no-transfer policy. Dogs and strollers are permitted; stroller participants are asked to start toward the back.
