Jurassic Express Trail Run (Swanage) : March 14, 2026
The Jurassic Express Trail Run takes place from the Swanage seafront and finishes at the ruins of Corfe Castle. The route passes coastal and landmark sights such as Old Harry Rocks and Studland, with hard-packed chalk and sandy trails. A private steam train returns runners to Swanage after the finish. Practical information
Entries include first aid, water stations, drinks, chip timing, a bib number, marshals, a finisher medal, finisher goodies, and a personalised certificate. Bib numbers and any train wristband chosen are posted to entrants ahead of the event. The event operates a plastic-free policy and asks participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle for use at water stations. Course signage uses pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with 'Caution' signs. First aid support is located at on-course aid stations and the event centre.
