Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for Best Costume in adult and child categories. Awards will also be given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races. The event is family friendly and features children's games and activities, candy, food, a Boo-mosa bar, a silent auction, and a midday after party.
Registrations and funds raised through the event support the Junior League of Memphis community programs. Beneficiaries named for this event include Baptist Camp Good Grief, Best Buddies, G.R.O.W. Binghampton, G.R.O.W. Pre-K Readiness, Innovative Teaching Grants, Kids in the Kitchen, REACH Memphis, Salvation Army of Memphis & the Mid-South, and Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry.
