Jungle Jim's 5K Splash : Rehoboth Beach, DE
The Jungle Jim's 5K Splash is a Seashore Striders event held at Jungle Jim's Water Park, 36944 Country Club Road, Rehoboth, DE. The event is part of the Seashore Striders Championship Series and offers a 5k course for both running and walking divisions.
The course begins inside the water park, follows an out and back route through the Country Club development of Rehoboth Beach, and finishes inside the water park. Participants may use the park's lazy river and one park ride that is available during the post-race period. Daily water park reentry is offered at the standard daily rate.
Two registration options are listed: an open run/walk division and a walk only division with separate awards. Registration is available online through RunSignUp or via a mail-in universal entry form. Fee tiers are listed for early, pre, and race-day registration; registrants by June 22 are guaranteed a t-shirt while later registrants receive shirts on a first come basis. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at the New Balance store on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach.
Timing is handled with the ChronoTrack B Chip system. Awards include Overall Male and Female champions, Overall Masters (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in 16 age categories.
