Event Overview
The Juneteenth Atlanta 5K Freedom Run is scheduled for June 21, 2026, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The event welcomes participants to run, walk, roll, or crawl a 5K distance in tribute to those who fought for freedom and human rights.
Course and Location
The course will use the same route as the 2025 event, looping through Piedmont Park. The start and finish areas are near the Park Tavern on 10th Street.
Participant Information
Registration for the 5K is $30.00 until May 10, 2026, after which the price increases to $35.00. All participants receive a race t-shirt. Bib and t-shirt pickup begins at 7:00 AM on race day at a welcome tent inside the park.
Awards
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in standard age group categories from 10 and under to 60 and up.
Logistics
Several parking options are available near the park, including decks on Piedmont Avenue and Monroe Drive. The MARTA rail station at 10th Street is also within walking distance of the park entrance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
