Juneteenth Atlanta 5K Freedom Run
The Juneteenth Atlanta 5K Freedom Run takes place on June 21, 2026 at Piedmont Park, 400 Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30306. Race information and logistics
The course uses laps around Piedmont Park, following the same course as in 2025. Registration pricing is listed as $30 until May 10 at 11:59 pm, then $35 thereafter. Group registration options are noted.
Race day bib pickup and packet registration begin at 7:00 am at the welcome tent on Charles Allen inside Piedmont Park off 10th Street. T-shirts and bibs are available at packet pickup. Finisher medals will be handed out at the finish line on 10th Street near Park Tavern.
Awards are given for male and female overall finishers and for age-group places 1 to 3 in the following categories: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up. Parking options listed include Botanical Deck (1345 Piedmont Ave), 1320 Monroe Dr, and behind Park Tavern at 500 10th St SE. MARTA 10 St NE station is about a 0.08 mile walk to Piedmont Park.
