Jump Off Rock Half Marathon and 10K - Hendersonville, North Carolina

The Jump Off Rock Half Marathon and 10K, presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee, takes place on May 8, 2027 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The event offers a point-to-point half marathon that begins at Jump Off Rock, a national landmark and the Town of Laurel Park’s highest peak, and a 10K that shares portions of the final route.

The half marathon route descends from Jump Off Rock, passes the start of the 10K course, travels through neighborhoods with gentle hills, circulates around Lake Osceola, and finishes on Main Street in historic Hendersonville. The half has four fully stocked water stations and the 10K has two; each station provides Gatorade, water, and JAMBARS. Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified (Sanction #142687; Half NC23011DF; 10K NC23012DF). The event is chip timed and uses MyLaps timing with a timing chip on the back of the race bib and timing mats along the course.

Additional event elements include complimentary participant shuttles, a Jump Off Rock Artisan Market and race expo held the day before the race with local artisans and vendors, locally sourced awards for overall and age-group winners, a commemorative finisher medal, and a post-race party with live music, local vendors, and a complimentary beer for 21+. Strollers are not permitted on course; dogs may attend as spectators only. A virtual race option is available and virtual participants receive event apparel and finisher items by mail.
