Event Overview
The Jump Off Rock Half Marathon & 10K is a point-to-point race held in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The event is presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee.
Course Details
The half marathon starts at Jump off Rock, a national landmark in Laurel Park. The route descends for several miles and passes the start point of the 10K course. Both routes travel through neighborhoods, pass Lake Osceola, and finish on Main Street in historic Hendersonville. The course features gentle hills. The half marathon has four water stations and the 10K has two, each providing Gatorade, Water, and JAMBARS. Both courses are USATF certified and chip-timed.

Event Features
Participants receive a custom race shirt for those who register by the deadline, and a unique custom-designed finisher medal. Complimentary shuttles are provided for all participants. There is a post-race party with live music, local vendors, and a complimentary beer for those 21 and over. Awards for overall winners and age group top finishers are locally-sourced.
The day before the race, an Artisan Market and Race Expo is held for packet pickup.
Practical Information
Strollers are not permitted on either course. Dogs are welcome as spectators but cannot participate in the race. The event happens rain or shine, continuing unless weather conditions are dangerous. Registered participants who cannot attend can transfer their registration to a virtual event option. Refunds are not provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
