Jump Off Rock Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
The Jump Off Rock event in Hendersonville, North Carolina takes place on May 8, 2027 and includes a half marathon, a 10K and an inaugural 5K. The event is presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee and finishes on Main Street in historic downtown Hendersonville.
The half marathon is a point to point course that begins at Jump Off Rock and descends for seven miles before joining the 10K route near the Hendersonville Family YMCA. The 5K and 10K start together at the YMCA; the half and 10K continue around Lake Osceola. Water and Gatorade are provided at aid stations: four on the half marathon, two on the 10K, and one on the 5K. All courses are USATF sanctioned and certified (Sanction number 142687; Half Marathon NC23011DF; 10K NC23012DF; 5K certification pending). The races are chip timed with clearly marked and supported courses.
Event services and amenities include complimentary participant shuttles, a commemorative finisher medal, a custom race shirt option tied to an April 11 registration deadline, locally sourced awards, and a post-race party with live music, local vendors and a complimentary beer for attendees 21 and older. Packet pickup and the Jump Off Rock Artisan Market and Race Expo occur the day before at Continuum Art from 3 PM to 7 PM. A virtual race option is offered and virtual entries receive mailed swag. Strollers are not permitted and dogs may only attend as spectators. Registration is non-refundable; transfers between participants are prohibited.
