Jump Off Rock Half Marathon and 10K
The Jump Off Rock event in Hendersonville, North Carolina features a point-to-point half marathon and a 10K that both finish on Main Street in historic Hendersonville. The half marathon begins at Jump Off Rock, a national landmark and the Town of Laurel Park’s highest peak, and descends through neighborhoods with gentle hills before passing around Lake Osceola.

Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified (Sanction #142687; Half NC23011DF; 10K NC23012DF). The courses are chip timed using MyLaps timing with timing chips on race bibs and timing mats placed along the route. Aid stations are provided along each course: the half marathon has four fully stocked stations and the 10K has two; each station supplies Gatorade, water, and JAMBARS. The event offers complimentary shuttles for participants and a packet pickup plus an Artisan Market and race expo the day before the race.
Post-race activities include a finish area on Main Street with live music, local vendors, complimentary beer for guests 21 and over, and locally sourced awards for top finishers. A virtual race option is available; virtual participants receive mailed race items. Strollers are not permitted in the races; dogs may attend as spectators.
