Jump Off Rock Half Marathon, 10k & 5k : May 8, 2027
The event offers three race distances on courses based in Laurel Park and downtown Hendersonville, North Carolina. Distances include:
- Half Marathon presented by Hunter Subaru
- 10k presented by UNC Health Pardee
- 5k inaugural distance
The Half Marathon starts at Jump Off Rock in Laurel Park and follows a mainly downhill, USATF certified route into downtown Hendersonville, finishing on Main Street. The 5k and 10k begin at the Hendersonville Family YMCA; the 5k follows the 10k route for part of the way before branching back through local neighborhoods. The 10k joins the half marathon course partway and sections of the routes pass around Lake Osceola. All three courses are listed as USATF sanctioned and certified. Sanction number 142687. Participant services and race operations described by the organizer include chip timing with live results, fully marked courses, complimentary shuttles, packet pickup and a pre race Expo, event dri fit shirts while supplies last until April 11, commemorative finisher medals, a Hunter Subaru goody bag, and a complimentary post race beer for participants 21 and over. The 10k offers cash prizes for overall top three male and female finishers with awards payable only if winners are present. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday May 7 at Continuum.
