Jump Off Rock Half Marathon & 10K : Hendersonville, North Carolina
The Jump Off Rock Half Marathon presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee is a point-to-point half marathon and a separate 10K held in Hendersonville on May 9, 2026. The half marathon begins at Jump Off Rock, the Town of Laurel Park’s highest peak, and descends through residential areas before both courses loop around Lake Osceola and finish on Main Street in historic Hendersonville.
Course details include gently rolling terrain and multiple aid stations. The half marathon has four fully stocked water stations and the 10K has two; each station provides Gatorade, water, and JAMBARS. Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified: Sanction Number #142687; Half Marathon Certification NC23011DF; 10K Certification NC23012DF. Timing uses a chip system with timing mats along the course and at the finish.
Event logistics noted by the organizer include complimentary participant shuttles and a Jump Off Rock Artisan Market and Race Expo the day before the race at Continuum Art. A virtual race option is available; virtual participants receive mailed race shirt and finisher item when offered. Strollers are not permitted on either course; dogs are allowed only as spectators. The organizer permits transfers into the virtual option prior to the race and maintains a no refund policy for event cancellations under normal circumstances.
