Jubilee Joy Fest & 5K Walk/Run
The Jubilee Joy Fest & 5K Walk/Run is a community running event held on October 17, 2026, that benefits Jubilee Academies student scholarships, external learning opportunities, and life-enriching experiences. It is the third annual edition and includes student performances from school clubs and organizations.
The event program includes multiple race options and a kids race that takes place before the adult race. Distances offered include:
- 0.50 mile Kids Race for children ages 4-10
- 5K Walk/Run
- 1 Mile
- Virtual 5K
The 5K follows a trail on San Antonio Southside. The event location is Southside Lions Park, Pavilion #4, 4008 Pecan Valley Drive, San Antonio, TX 78223. Packet pick-up date and time are to be determined.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers, first through third place in age groups 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus, and to the top three teams. Team scoring will depend on the number of team members registered. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 100 finishers. The 1 Mile and the Kids Race for ages 4-10 are not chip timed.
Entry pricing varies by date and category. Early and later entry tiers are listed for the 5K, 1 Mile, and Virtual 5K. Reduced entry fees apply for Jubilee staff and Jubilee students. Kids ages 0-3 may participate free with a paid adult. Event shirts will be ordered on 10/07/26; entries received by 10/06/26 can receive requested sizes. Refunds are not offered; confirmation instructions cover options to transfer or sell registrations, or participants may contact Soler's Sports for assistance.
