JSL 5K/Fun Run
The JSL 5K/Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at MacLean Park in Lake Jackson, Texas. This community event is organized by members of the Junior Service League and offers two distinct participation options:
- 5K Run
- Kids Run
The run serves as a benefit for Southern Brazoria County high school graduates and women re-entering the workforce. Funds raised support individuals attending Brazosport College after a break in their education through annual scholarship awards. Participants in both the 5K and the Kids Run courses receive a finisher medal upon completion of their event.
The event site is located at the MacLean Park Small Pavilion, situated at 93 Lake Road. On-site registration is available on the morning of the event. Alternatively, a packet pickup session is held on the Friday afternoon preceding the race at the same location. The Kids Fun Run is open to children aged 10 years old or younger. Registered participants also have the option to purchase official race day shirts through the organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
