Event information
The Gulf Coast Grind takes place on April 18, 2026, in Freeport, Texas, at 3312 County Rd 257. The event offers multiple distance options:

Registration closes on April 18, 2026. A chip timed result system is used and full aid stations are provided.
Course and services
The course runs along the water at Surfside Beach on hard packed sand. Course formats by distance are described as out-and-back segments or loops: the 100K is six loops using a 5-mile out-and-back section; the 50K is three repeats of a 5-mile out-and-back; the marathon is two repeats of a 6.55-mile out-and-back; the half marathon is a 6.55-mile out-and-back; the 10K is a 3.1-mile out-and-back; the 5K is a 1.55-mile out-and-back. The event has a 20-hour overall cutoff. Packet pickup is available at the start/finish area. Every registered runner receives a custom medal, a choice of swag, access to aid stations, volunteer support, and free race photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
