About the race
The Joy Cann Memorial 5 Mile Road Race is an annual event held in Huncote, running through Narborough and Enderby. Established in 1993 to honor Joy Cann, a dedicated Huncote Harriers club runner, the race is part of the LRRL Summer League and attracts a competitive field from across the county, including club and unattached runners. The course covers five miles on road, offering a challenging and well-supported race atmosphere.
Notably, a significant portion of the event's profits is donated to local charities, supporting various community organizations over its 25+ year history. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
