Joy Cann 5 2026
The Joy Cann 5 is a five mile road race held on Wednesday 5 August 2026. The course runs through Huncote, Narborough and Enderby and is described as undulating, using road and pavement surfaces. The race starts and finishes on Forest Road at the rear of the Next PLC Head Office in Enderby.
This edition is a closed race open only to members of Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL) clubs. Transfers are permitted until 31 July 2026 and may only be made between members of LRRL clubs. Entrants must be aged 16 or over on race day; juniors need parental permission and must belong to an affiliated club with a safeguarding policy and a Club Officer holding a current Athletics DBS Certificate present at the race.
A cutoff of 1 hour 15 minutes will apply; runners who fall behind the sweep vehicle continue at their own risk without marshal support. No headphones, in-ear devices or bone conductor devices are permitted except for medical reasons; any use may result in disqualification.
Entry is limited to 800 runners. Entry fees are £10 for attached runners and £12 for unattached runners. Race numbers are collected by club representatives on the night. There are no entries on the night. Parking is at Next PLC Head Office, Desford Road, Enderby; the car park is covered by CCTV and only the provided toilets should be used.
