Joy Cann 5
The Joy Cann 5 is a five mile road race held on 5 August 2026. The course runs through Huncote, Narborough and Enderby and is described as undulating, on road and pavement.
The event is a Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL) league race and is closed to LRRL club members. Transfers are permitted only to other members of LRRL clubs and must be completed by 31 July 2026. Maximum entry is 800 and entrants must be at least 16 years old on race day. There will be no entries on the night and race numbers are collected by club representatives.
There is a cutoff time of 1 hour 15 minutes. Runners who fall behind the sweep vehicle will continue at their own risk and without marshal support. Use of headphones, in-ear devices or bone conductors is not permitted except for medical reasons and may lead to disqualification.
Entry fees are listed as £10 for attached runners and £12 for unattached runners. A proportion of the race profits is donated to local charities. Parking is at Next PLC Head Office, Desford Road, Enderby, LE19 4AT. The Derby Runner will have a stall at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
