Mallory Park Triathlon overview
The event takes place at Mallory Park Circuit in Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire. It includes a Sprint distance race that is a British Triathlon age group qualifier for the 2027 European Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships and a shorter SuperSprint option.
The swim is a single lap in the enclosed lake at the centre of the circuit. Water quality and calm conditions are described as suitable for straightforward navigation. Swimmers exit to a hard standing transition area adjacent to the lake.
The bike uses multiple laps of the closed 2.5 km race circuit with smooth tarmac and sweeping turns. The Sprint race is draft legal so time trial bikes, disc wheels, flat bar bikes, and aero bars are not permitted under the event rules.
The run consists of laps on a 1.25 km course that uses the back straight and paddock area. The flat, closed circuit is described as spectator friendly for finishes and position racing.
Additional event details include camping onsite with showers and toilets, Zone3 wetsuit hire availability, and parking fees charged on exit with cash preferred.
