Event overview
The ATW Mallory Park Triathlon incorporates the 2027 European Age Group Championship Sprint Triathlon qualifier. The next race date is 01/08/2026. The event takes place at Mallory Park Circuit, Church Road, Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire, LE9 7QE. There are race options at Sprint distance (draft-legal) and a shorter SuperSprint non-drafting option. Athletes who wish to qualify for the 2027 European Championship must register their intent to qualify by 5pm on the Wednesday before the race.
Course and logistics
The venue uses a traffic-free motorsport circuit with smooth tarmac and an enclosed lake. The swim is a single lap in the lake with calm water and easy navigation. Transition uses a hard-standing area next to the swim exit. The bike course is multiple laps of a closed 2.5 km circuit; the Sprint race is draft-legal and therefore time-trial bikes, disc wheels, flat-bar bikes, and aero-bars are not permitted. The run is laps of a 1.25 km course that uses the back straight and paddock area. Final wave groupings and other final race information are published one week before the event. Camping is available onsite with showers and toilets. Parking is charged on exit: £3 per car, £5 per van or minibus, and £10 per bus or coach; cash is requested. Zone3 wetsuit hire is available.
