Event
The ATW Mallory Park Triathlon incorporates the 2027 European Age Group Championship Sprint Triathlon qualifier. It is organised by Active Training World and takes place at Mallory Park Circuit in Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire. The venue features an enclosed lake, a traffic-free 2.5 km closed race circuit, and a 1.25 km run loop using the back straight and paddock area.
Race formats and distances
Two race formats are offered:
- Non-drafting Super Sprint: 400 m swim; 10 km bike; 2.5 km run.
- Draft-legal Sprint: 750 m swim; 20 km bike; 5 km run.
The swim is a single lap in the lake. The bike uses multiple laps of the 2.5 km circuit. The run uses repeated laps of the 1.25 km course. The Sprint race is draft-legal; time-trial bikes, disc wheels, flat-bar bikes, and aero-bars are not permitted.
Entry, eligibility and logistics
Entry prices listed are £60 for the Non-drafting Super Sprint and £85 for the Draft-Legal Sprint. Races are open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026. Athletes seeking European Championship qualification must register their intent by the Wednesday before the race; late registrations will not count. Camping is available onsite with showers and toilets. Parking is charged on exit: £3 per car, £5 per van/minibus, £10 per bus/coach; cash is preferred. Wetsuit hire (Zone3) is available.
