ATW Mallory Park Triathlon
The ATW Mallory Park Triathlon takes place at the Mallory Park Circuit in Leicestershire. This event is held on a legendary motorsport track that provides a traffic-free environment for multisport racing. The venue features smooth tarmac surfaces and its own enclosed lake located at the center of the circuit.
The event includes two primary triathlon distances:
- Draft-Legal Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20 km bike (8 laps), and 5 km run (4 laps).
- Non-drafting Super Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 10 km bike (4 laps), and 2.5 km run (2 laps).
The swim portion consists of a single lap in the lake, followed by a transition in a hard-standing area. The cycling leg utilizes a 2.5km closed race circuit. For the Sprint distance specifically, the race is draft-legal, meaning time-trial bikes, disc wheels, flat-bar bikes, and aero-bars are not permitted. The run leg follows a 1.25km loop using the back straight and the paddock area on flat terrain.
This event serves as a British Triathlon Age-Group Qualifier for the 2027 European Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships. Participants aiming for qualification must hold a Core or Ultimate membership with British Triathlon. Onsite facilities include camping options with showers and toilets. Parking is available at the venue for a fee, and wetsuit hire is provided through an external partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
