Journey Church Geaux for Gold 5K
Journey Church holds the Geaux for the Gold event on November 21, 2026, in Pineville, Louisiana at 3311 Donahue Ferry Rd. The event includes two distances and is organized to raise awareness and support for childhood cancer research through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while honoring people affected by cancer.

The event features awards for all who place and inflatable jumpers for children. The first 50 participants who pre-register will receive a free copy of the book CANCER: Prayer of Hope. Packet pickup is available the Friday before the event at Run Wild, 2006 MacArthur Dr. Suite E, Alexandria, LA, and there will also be packet pickup at the race site on event day. Same-day registration and on-site packet pickup are offered. Community vendors, local businesses, and participating organizations will be present, and the event concludes with awards and a brief celebration once official results are available.
