Event details
The 2025 Calvary Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana. The event is held at 5011 Jackson Street, Alexandria, LA 71303. Two distances are offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
Entry fee for each event is $25. Online registration remains open until the race starts, and in-person registration is available at packet pickup and on the morning of the event.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Calvary Baptist Church and also on race morning at the start line. Registrations received on or before Sunday, November 16, 2025, will receive a shirt in their preferred size at packet pickup; late and race-day registrants may receive a shirt only if extras are available. Refreshments will be provided to participants at the finish.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall for male and female, and for individual age groups in both the 5K and the 1 Mile races. Age group categories are listed as follows: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- 5K: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over
- 1 Mile: 5 & under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-17, 18 & over
