Joshua Sampson Memorial 5K with Virtual Option

Entry fee is listed as $25; the price increases after January 11, 2026. Race day registration and packet pickup are available. A paper registration form and a course map are provided by the organizer.
The Sandy Creek Park course is USATF certified (GA19034DJ). The virtual option allows participants to run the 3.1 miles anywhere and submit a time via the event results system. Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards. T-shirts must be picked up from Fleet Feet or on race day.
Awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and in 5-year age groups from "10 and Under" through "80 and Over."
Finishline management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services. The event is a member of the Black Bag Race Series. In case of storms, the start may be delayed in 15-minute increments; there are no refunds for inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
