Glads Run ATH 5K : event overview
The Glads Run ATH 5K takes place on November 8, 2025 in Athens, GA at Clarke Central High School, 350 S. Milledge Ave, Athens, GA 30605. The event includes an in-person 5K and a Virtual Glads Run ATH 5K; both are 5-kilometer events (3.1 miles). Proceeds support the Clarke Central High School General Fund to assist faculty and staff needs.
Logistics and race details
Registration for both the in-person and virtual events is priced at $30.00 plus a $3.44 sign-up fee. Online registration closes November 5, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. Race day registration and packet pickup are located in the parking lot between the cafeteria and the JROTC building. T-shirt requests are guaranteed for registrations completed by October 22; after that date shirts are not guaranteed and will be available as supply lasts.
The course starts and finishes in the football stadium, crosses Baxter Street, and runs through the 5-points neighborhood. Awards are given for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and 5-year age groups from "10 and Under" up to "80 and Over." Virtual participants may run the distance anywhere and must submit a finish time by November 8; virtual runners are not eligible for t-shirts or race day awards. Finish line management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services. No refunds are issued for inclement weather and the schedule may be adjusted.
