Jordan's Run Veterans' Memorial 5K Run/Walk
Jordan's Run Veterans' Memorial 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for July 26, 2026 and offers both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option. The in person course is USATF certified and runs through historic Sag Harbor Village.
The route passes Pierson High School, the harbor and a windmill, includes a loop across the NYS Lance Cpl. Veterans Memorial Bridge and returns through village streets. Runners pass a marina near the second water stop and pass Oakland Cemetery, a site associated with the event memorial.
Registration opens April 22, 2026. In person registration closes July 25, 2026 and the in person entry fee is listed as $30. The virtual option accepts registrations through July 26, 2026 and the virtual entry fee is listed as $40. Early t shirt pickup and registration are available on July 24 at Sayville Running Company and on July 25 at Pierson Middle High School. Race day registration and t shirt pickup are available only on the day of the event.
The event is presented as part of the Suffolk County Veterans Run Series and serves as a memorial to a local United States Marine who was killed in action in 2008. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
