Jordan's Run the Runway 5K Series: Sarnia-Lambton
Jordan's Run the Runway 5K Series: Sarnia-Lambton takes place at the Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport. This unique event allows participants to run, walk, or roll directly on the airport runway. The fundraiser supports the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, helping local children and families access camps and community programs.
The event features a flat and fast certified course with chip timing. Participants begin and end the race outside of the Terminal Building on the runway. Those who cannot attend in person may select the virtual participation option to complete the distance at their own location.
The following distances are available:
- 5 km Run, Walk, or Roll
- 1 km Kiddie Trot (non-timed)
- 5 km Virtual Race
A reception follows the main race inside the Terminal Building, featuring food, drinks, and a presentation ceremony. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The event is held rain or shine, and strollers are permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
