Jordan's Run the Runway 5K Series: Sarnia-Lambton
This event is a 5K Run, Walk, Roll, or Pole on the runway at Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport (1500 Airport Rd, Sarnia, ON). It is presented by Siskinds LLP and organized to raise funds for local YMCA programs and camps in the Sarnia-Lambton area. The event is scheduled for October 2, 2026 and is held rain or shine.
The course is a certified, flat 5K with chip timing and begins and ends outside the terminal building on the airport runway. Strollers are welcome. A shorter, untimed Kiddie Trot 1K is offered for young participants. A virtual 5K option is available; virtual participants are not eligible for finishing prizes.
A reception with food and drink will take place in the terminal building after the event, followed by presentations and prizing. Prizes are awarded to top male and female finishers, including a pair of ASICS running shoes for first place and gift card prizes for second and third places. The event is part of a four-stop series that includes other airport locations in the region. Fundraising proceeds remain local to support access to YMCA programs for children and families.
