About the race
The Run for the Frontline event takes place at Canatara Beach & Park in Sarnia, Ontario. It is a timed run to honour and support first responders and frontline workers. Proceeds will go to charity.
The available distances are:
- 1 km: A free, non-timed fun run for children aged 12 and under.
- 5 km: A scenic route through Canatara Park.
- 10 km: A scenic route through Canatara Park and the surrounding area.
For the Guardian Cup team challenge, groups of four can compete in the 5 km distance; the trophy is awarded to the team with the fastest average time. The event is open to everyone, not just frontline workers. Walking is permitted, and service animals and dogs are welcome.
Participants in the 5 km and 10 km races receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
