Run for the Frontline
Run for the Frontline is a timed community run held at Canatara Beach & Park, Lake Chipican Drive, Sarnia, Ontario. The course starts and finishes at the Terry Fox loop and includes a scenic route through the park.
Proceeds from the 2026 event will go to Boots on the Ground. Previous beneficiaries include Project Mental Wellness, Three Oaks Cabin, and Boots on the Ground in 2025.
Distances and event formats:
- 1 KM fun run for children, free for ages 12 and under.
- 5 KM scenic run/walk through and around Canatara Park.
- 10 KM scenic run that includes the 5 KM route.
The Guardian Cup is a team challenge for the 5 KM only: teams of four register together, all four finish times are added and the average time determines the winning team; team names are added to the trophy.
Practical information and policies: race kits and shirts are available for pickup before the event and on the morning of the event at 546 Christina Street N, unit 401A (enter through the rear, elevator to 4th floor); timing chips are distributed the morning of the event. Walking is permitted; service animals and dogs are allowed; strollers and wagons are welcome. Finishers receive a challenge coin; 5 KM and 10 KM participants receive a limited edition t-shirt.
