Jordan’s Run the Runway 5K Series: London
Jordan’s Run the Runway 5K Series in London is a fundraising event hosted at the Fanshawe College Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology runway, adjacent to London International Airport. The event includes a certified, flat and fast 5K course with chip timing that begins and ends on the runway.
Participants can choose from several categories including:
- 5K Run, Walk, Roll, or Urban Poling
- Virtual 5K
- Kiddie Trot (approximate 1K, timed and not timed options)
- High school student 5K
The event supports YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth and YMCA of Southwestern Ontario fundraising efforts. A fundraising campaign for the event lists a current total raised and a larger goal for the campaign. Prize categories include awards for top finishers and age group prizes, with additional random prize draws. The event is presented by Siskinds LLP and lists local partners and sponsors.
Race kit pick up is offered at multiple local locations in the days before the event. The evening program includes a kids trot, the 5K course event, and an on site reception with food plus presentations and prize announcements.
