The Johnstown Mastodon March 5K/10K Run & Walk takes place on June 6, 2026, in Johnstown, Ohio (43031). The event includes the following distances:

- KIDS FUN RUN : 300 yards, for children ages 1-8
Registration for the 5K and 10K is listed at $40; the Kids Fun Run is free. Registration opens March 14, 2026. A community breakfast is part of the event and is open to both racers and non-racers; breakfast tickets are $10 per person. Alcohol tickets are available at the event with ID required for purchase.
Logistics, organizer and community notes
The race is organized by Johnstown Lifestyle, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in January 2024. The Mastodon Community Breakfast is presented in collaboration with American Legion Post 254. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is named as a presenting sponsor.
The Kids Fun Run route is about 300 yards and starts at the back side of the start/finish line on Phalen Place, proceeds through the city parking lot, turns onto Oregon Street, and returns to Phalen Place. Several nearby parking options are listed, including the Johnstown municipal parking lot, Johnstown Schools North Field Campus, Transportation Accessory Company, Johnstown Middle and Intermediate School, and Johnstown High School.
