Johnstown Mastodon March 5K/10K Run & Walk
Johnstown Lifestyle, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in January 2024, presents a community running event in Johnstown, Ohio at 1 Phalen Place on June 12, 2027. The event program includes road races, a kids run, and a community breakfast with live blue grass music.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 Miles) course through downtown Johnstown and onto the T.J. Evans Bike Trail.
- 10K (6.2 Miles) follows the 5K route, then continues on a country out-and-back road before returning to the 5K course.
- Kids Fun Run (300 Yards) free for children ages 1 to 8, starting and finishing at the race start/finish line; participants do not receive a t-shirt.
Registration details and fees are published for the adult races; the registration fee is $40 for the 5K and 10K. Registrations received after May 15 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
A community breakfast is offered in collaboration with American Legion Post 254. The breakfast has a fee of $10 per person and proceeds support the Johnstown Food Pantries. Live blue grass music will accompany the breakfast. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
