The Thanks For Giving event takes place on Thanksgiving Day, 11/26/2026, in New Albany, Ohio at 240 Market St. The program includes a main running event and a short race for children.

All registration is handled online. Registration opens 10/01/2026 and closes on race day, 11/26/2026. Participants planning to register at early packet pickup or on race day should bring a smartphone for the online process.
There is no official race fee. Donations are accepted and 100 percent of net proceeds are donated to three local nonprofit funds: the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, Life Care Alliance, and the New Albany Thanksgiving Day fund at the New Albany Community Foundation. Food donations are directed to the New Albany Food Pantry.
A minimum donation of $40 is required to receive the event t-shirt; a no-shirt option is available without charge. Additional donations can be made during registration. Organizers will be collecting donations on Thanksgiving morning, will recognize sponsors, and may offer pies and giveaways to those who donate.
