Johns Hopkins Children's Center Miracles in Motion : September 26, 2026
This event features a 5K run and a 1 mile walk, followed by a Critter Crawl kids dash, with virtual participation options. It benefits the Johns Hopkins Children's Center and offers opportunities for participants to fundraise for areas of the Children's Center.
Participants receive event apparel: in-person registrations include a cotton t-shirt, Critter Crawl participants receive a youth-size t-shirt and a participation medal, and the paid virtual option includes a mailed t-shirt after the event on September 26, 2026. Same-day registration is available and a same-day zoo admission add-on is offered at a discounted rate of $17 (regular value $33). Family pricing for a group of four applies with a 10% discount.
Children ages 2 to 12 must be registered separately in the Critter Crawl to take part in that dash and to receive youth apparel and the participation medal. The 5K run is professionally timed by Mettle Timing Company. Participants who bring strollers should line up in the last race wave; the course has varied surfaces and a jogging stroller is recommended.
