Logistics, course and awards
Registration and pricing details in the event listing include a base price of $25 for the 5K (price increases after February 13, 2026), the Phantom Runner option at $20, and no fee listed for the 1K and Tiny Trot. Register by February 10, 2026 to receive a t-shirt. Early packet pickup is scheduled March 5 at the school (4:00-5:30 PM) and March 6 at Fleet Feet Athens (4:00-7:00 PM, Fleet Feet at 1694 S. Lumpkin Street). Venmo, cash or check are accepted for in-person transactions. Race day packet pickup and registration are available via RunSignup.
The 5K course starts and finishes at the school. The 1K uses a 1K portion of the 5K course and also starts and finishes at the school. The Tiny Tree Frog Trot runs on campus around the loop in front of the school. 5K awards include Overall, Masters, Burks Elementary and detailed age-group prizes; participation awards are given for the 1K and Tiny Trot.
