John P. McKeon Post Father's Day Race : Dorchester, MA
The John P. McKeon Post Father's Day Race is a community road event held on Father’s Day, June 21, 2026, at the John P. McKeon AMVETS Post #146, 4 Hilltop Street, Dorchester, MA 02124. The event includes a 3.2 mile run and a walk option. There is parking available in the lot near the starting area.
Awards for runners are given to the top three male and female finishers in these categories: Overall, Age 14 and under, Ages 15 to 30, Age 31 to 50, Age 51 to 65, and Ages 66 and older. Walkers receive awards for the top three male and female finishers with no age groups.
A cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs follows the race. T-shirts are provided to the first 250 people who pre-register before race day. Individual entry fees are listed as $30 for pre-registration with a t-shirt included and $35 on race day with t-shirts not guaranteed. A family registration option is available for $100 for up to four members; t-shirt availability is not guaranteed for family entries. Payment options noted include cash or checks payable to McKeon Post Road Race, mailed to 4 Hilltop Street, Dorchester, MA 02124.
