The John Faulds Hellingly 10K
The event is the 39th Hellingly 10K, scheduled for Sunday 13th September 2026. It forms part of the Sussex Grand Prix series and has a race limit of 350 runners.
The course is a UK Athletics accurately measured one lap route on undulating country roads around Hellingly. The race start is on Station Road, BN27 4EU, located after the Cuckoo Trail bridge and approximately 400 m from the race HQ and car parking field. The finish is at the Roebuck Park Cricket Pavilion field, BN27 4EP, which lies within about a one mile walking distance of the race HQ and car park. The Race HQ is sited at the Church Road car park, BN27 4EX, with free parking available in the adjacent field.
Race numbers must be collected on the day from the start HQ and will not be sent out in advance. A bag drop operates at the race HQ and bags are transported to the finish; bag tags will be available. Toilets are provided at both the start HQ and the finish.
The event is chip timed by Sports Systems and results are based on individual chip times. All finishers receive a medal. Prizes include trophies for the first finishers, awards for the first three male and female finishers, age category winners, and a trophy for the club or team with the largest turnout. Prize presentations take place at Roebuck Park Cricket Pavilion.
The race is run on open roads; marshals’ instructions must be followed and, in line with UKA regulations for open road races, the wearing of headphones is not permitted. The Cuckoo Trail is suggested for warm up and the finish field for cool down to reduce contact with traffic. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
